Hi All,

Suppose you are a 1hbh baseliner 4.5 clay player and you are supposed to choose between these frames, which one would you pick one out of these without testing as they are on at a deal price, which one would you go for?

- Head MG Radical MP
- Fischer M Speed Pro Nr1 (98)
- Volkl Tour 10 Gen II (98)
- Wilson KBlade Tour (93)

Cheers!

4.5, definitely the K Blade Tour.
But if you know how to modify a bit, MG Radical MP would be the best buy, especially at its price.

Radical! It's got all of the control and you can easily modify it because it is such a light stick to start with. Why didn't you include the KBlade 98? It is closer to the specs of the MG Radical and can also be modified easily.

KBT is one I would want to demo before $$. Seems its quite popular on here but I thought it felt like a stiff board, hated it. Way prefer the Prestige MP and Dunlop 200 lines

From your list I would go with the Fischer Magnetic.
Brilliant frame.
Need to mention that the only racquet I haven't played from your list is the Volkl gen 2, although the gen 1 is my main racquet.
However, as far as I understand the gen 2 is lower powered than the gen 1, in which case you are better off with the Pro no 1.

One of my concerns about the blade is the stiffness, comfort and my ARM. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I didn't include it as I can not get a deal on it, as I don't live in the US

if comfort and arm health is an issue I would lean more towards the radical and you can customize it to your liking.

Thanks for your answer, I've played a couple ofmatches with the gen 2, great comfort, lot of control, lack of power so I got tired after 1.5 hours of hard hitting. But the feel is pretty similar to my tgk 238.2 which I want to replace.
Cheers

Head Radical for the reasons already stated. Did like the KBT as well, but Radical is more versitle.

+1

Also if you do go with the blade, it isn't as harsh as you might think. Just get a nice multi as the main or cross with a soft poly and it plays well. I went with the 98 because it wasn't quite as heavy with all the positives. Wait, you might want to try out the 98 if you can.

Yeh, amazingly stiff and uncomfortable while not giving you the full benefits of a stiff racquet.
A mg or youtek prestige is a much better all round racquet if you are into that kind of spec.

So, from the answers I got the situation is:

KBlade Tour, most voted, but some say that it might be a little stiff and probably the less comfortable of all.

MG Radical MP: confortable great platform for customizing.

M Speeed Pro N1: great racquet, but I believe there are no more left, I can get a couple old Pro N1 (red- black)

Volkl tour 10 Gen 2: I've tested it, very nice frame it reminds me of my TGK238.2, more comfortable, more weight and is not as good on serves.

Finally someone suggested the Dunlop 300T and the Prestige MP.. I can get an used Dunlop almost at the same price of the others, but I never tested it, how would you rate it against the others?

Cheers

If these four are your only options ..... go with the Fischer

Fischer obviously. Radical second...even though I like the pro version better.

Fischer. No question. Its just a great stick, and I'm constantly in the hunt for more SL versions.
