I've been using a RDS 001 Midplus that I purchased last year and really had not used until now. For the most part, have really enjoyed it, though it doesn't have much pop.The RDiS 100 seems to have the exact same specs, but I have heard that they play different.

First question - In what ways do the RDS 001 MP and RDiS 100 MP play different?

Also, I was looking at the Ultimum RD Ti 80, and I like the specs. 12.1 oz, 325ish SW, nice flex, 8 pts headlight. I've used frames such as Wilson Six-One series, Prince Diablo mid, which have more cumbersome specs. Yet, a lot of the comments regarding the RD Ti 80 insist that it's a frame for very advanced players, 5.0 and above (I'm a 4.5).

Second question - Is this true? Is the RD Ti 80 really that advanced of a frame? The specs don't suggest that.

Yes, RD ti 80 is low powered, with great feel, great control a player's frame for sure.

If you buy the Ti 80, ask whoever you buy from for SL versions which are the heavy ones, 4 1/2 is most likely to give you your desired specs in SL weight.

Yonex used to make rackets with different weight for same grip sizes:
SL 4 3/8 and UL 4 3/8 to give an option for those who wanted grip size 3 with lighter weight, instead of having 4 3/8 weighing 330g which not all people that use 4 3/8 are in the same level of playing.

There are numerous threads about RDS VS RDiS 100.
http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=370686
http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=298999

Here are some of them but there are more info between the 2 of them.
The RDS MP has less power is more crisp and is more string sensitive in my opinion about what string.
But research more, I haven't played with RDiS 100 MP and RDS 001 MP in ages.
