So I have just come back from about a 2 month lay off from tennis. Whilst out I purchased 5 Volkl DNX 10's at a real good price. Played today, and while they are nice frames, there just too unforgiving and I know I'll struggle on serve returns. So I have looked at what i can get at a price and came up with 2 Head Youtek IG speeds 18/20's for just 140 or 3 Prince Ozone tours at 120 brand new. I cant demo and was wondering what you would advice from using these sticks for a player like me, hard hitting baseline player, attacking play and I like to flatten it out when possible. ANY feedback would be awesome. Cheers guys

Give it a few weeks. I am out 3 more weeks and I don't expect to come back and set the world on fire out of the gate.

Dont get me wrong guys, I am not blaming the frames. I just know I've got 6 weeks till the big tournaments and want to give my self the best chance. I played my best tennis last summer using the PB 8s leaded up. So I am just thinking whilst the Extreme pros are at that good price, it might be worth it? I can get away in rallys with the thinner rackets, the only place I struggle is on service returns, with the tweeners I can get a more consistent return. Any one tried the new speed 18/20?

Youtek extreme pro gives good pop/spin and it is easy to slice returns back or slap a forehand winner down the line imo

Perhaps you should spend the money on lessons for a more consistent return? 6 weeks is a bit short to get used to a new frame...

IMO you should take 2 racquets (DNX 10) that feel the same to you out and hit with them for an hour min. Use a wall, ball machine, other player to hit against. Do this every day if you can and your muscle memory will quickly come back.

6 weeks with the same frame is short????? Wow. It looks like the OP just does not like how they play, so I think he should go with his gut feelings......
Good luck, keep us posted!

So, you played your best tennis last summer using leaded-up PB-8 frames, so.....you went out and bought 5 DNX 10 frames. Can you explain this sequence of events, or do you have a self-defeating personality?

Well I stopped playing due to wrk and had to sell to pay some bills, that's all
