View Full Version : Should I keep my old Fischer Pro Tour?

So I have a Fischer Pro Tour that is in pretty good shape. I got an offer to buy it (strung) for about 40 dollars. Is this worth it for me? Does Fischer going out of business increase or decrease the value? The only real wear is on the bumper guard. What do you guys think?

I say keep it. Fischer going out of business really doesn't hurt or help it. It is the QUALITY of the racquet that makes it worth more or less. The crummy racquets out there are worth zero while the quality racquets hold their value. This, IMO, is a nice quality racquet. If you enjoy hitting with it keep it. If you don't enjoy hitting with it then sell it. A $40 isn't a bad price but I don't think keeping it will make it a $100 later on though. Just my thoughts.

If you enjoy playing with it even from time to time - its worth keeping it.
But if its just going to sit in the closet and not see any action then its time to let it go.
