US Open tickets [Archive]

I am wondering if anyone here has been to Arthur Ash stadium before. I plan on going this summer and am looking for tickets right now. I will be going to either guys semi on second Saturday or night session first Saturday.

How big is the difference between promenade and loge seating? Also for semi finals all seats will be full, but for the first Saturday what are the chances of sneaking into lower seats? Ticket prices for court side seem outrageous on any day, is it possible for prices.to go downed you get closer to the event or should I just book it now?

Another thought, if I get the first Saturday day session and night session doesn't fill up, how do they determine if you have to leave as you wont have night tickets.

At night they make everyone exit, then let the night crowd in. At least I think that's what they do. I've only been to the Open during the day. Going this year, woop!

There is a pretty big difference between loge and upper deck but I always sit in the upper deck bc I hate spending money. I go every year. Prices don't go down unless the final is between Murray and soderling or a match like that. Usually sells out quickly too.
