I just got 2 of these sticks and there are grooves in the Synthetic Replacement Grip.. are these supposed to be on the stick or is it just a bad racquet I received? This is my first Yonex and comparing it with all my other previous racquets, none have had any sort of grooves in the replacement grip.
They can easily be seen after putting an overgrip on top.

Not quite sure what the problem is. Please take a picture of the grip and send it along with a brief description of what is wrong to email@example.com

Thanks Jason, will do. Just a question since you were apart of the review on the racquet.. did you notice anything different with the replacement grip itself, even after putting on an OG (the feel) compared to maybe a Head, Wilson ,etc? I just feel there are grooves on the replacement grip that I've never felt on any Head, Wilson, Tecnifibre (the last 3 sticks I've used).
Here is the picture, (I emailed this as well)
Here is another picture. Without an overgrip a different stick. Just wanted to confirm that this is normal and these sticks are totally fine.
Side angle (you can see it more from this picture)

That looks pretty normal...

It's just how the grip is wrapped at the factory. Nothing wrong with it, or the integrity of the racquet, they just didn't overlap as much when wrapping it.

Looks like a normal grip. If you use an overgrip, you can rotate the position of the starting point of the overgrip so that the overlap of the overgrip lays over the groove in the racket grip and evens out the thickness of the handle.
(a lot of overs over there)
