Ok so I have 14ft of a poly.... Im looking to restring a wood racket, that I ball parked with a ruler at needing about 14ft for the crosses, but thats before ties etc.... just wonering what this 14ft of string will stretch out to to see if its even worth a try.

I wouldn't put a poly in a wood anyway. It would probably reach if you have a crank machine where you can get the tensioner right up next to the frame. You won't have much to tie with though.

I love poly in wood! I just need a fresh set, and have this 14ft left, hmmmm

Poly does not elongate very much when you pull tension.
With syngut, you may get a full ft. extra. Poly? Maybe an inch or two.
You'd be cutting it awfully close!
Pun intended.

yup came up short, would have worked for 19 crosses...... so I only put in 19 crosses, so now its an 18x19, should play about the same, I just skipped the second to last cross.
