shes 45, she wants something light, but she's a beginner, so it cant be too light, she doesnt have any control over the ball. She's looking to spend around 120~, not including strings, etc.

Definitely something along the lines of a Wilson.

not too light, or she might get tennis elbow, as all the impact shocks are transmitted to the arm.

find something around 320g, 60 in stiffness.
Volkl, Pro Kennex or Fisher are best for arm

Look in the TW close outs. There a bunch of great frames at screaming deals. Sounds like she might like a Princ Bandit OS or Turbo Outlaw OS. Or maybe a Wilson Cosmo. These were all premium priced frames 6-12 months ago.

As a beginner, she should get an inexpenive frame and learn the game. If she sticks with it, she can always buy pricer stuff. The TW closeouts are the best deals going.

320g, well, I think it is a bit heavy. My mom is using Head iX16 CS and n3, lot of power, still have control with them. She is 49. No tennis elbow anyway.

Prince Thundercloud might be good for somebody like that -- it's cheap and easy to handle, on the light side, but well-made and not too stiff or high-powered.

My wife uses a Bandit OS. She's a "C" player. Her first racket was a Prince UltraLite. It's harder to get power when you swing at the ball though, but for someone who just punched the ball, it was great. Agree with whoever said "go to the discontinued frames".
