Background: 63 year old USTA 3.5, wins about 80% of matches on doubles court 4 or 5 with a very good serve to either side, good spin, not much top spin, pretty good drop shops fair at volleys because I swing to much. Can still run any ball down. Usually win by out thinking the other players as I have never been better then a 3.5 and still commit errors. I lead up all my rackets and play around with strings and tension till I get everything just right and am a nut about equipment
What I like: 12.2 weight, 95size, very head light, (8-12pts), low RA (45 now), open string pattern. Low swing-weight (310 now). Size 4 1/2, Strings 18 Klip Natty Mains, Head 17ga Control at 5 lbs over middle.

Today I hit with a Prince ozone four 110, 27.25 length, 290 SW, 10.4 strung, 2pts Head Heavy. Size 4 3/8. Strung in the middle with 16ga lux mains and 16ga crosses. It goes against everything I like in a racket.

I never had that much action on a serve! Spin on the serve was wicked, never had that much control, I was able to hit deep into the court which is a big problem for me. I also had the time to move to a semi western forehand and put a lot of topspin on the ball as I am a flat hitter and definitely need more top. I use a 4 1/2 and this was a 4 3/8, I dont know how much that has to do with the demo.

I talked to the pro and he said to remove all my lead in my racket, string it 5lbs lower. He is not a fan of 110 size head.

What is your opinion?

If I do decide to buy one of these Prince 110s do you recommend the newer model? What about the 105?

I have the demos coming but I still would like some opinions on my questions.

The Prince red and white are really fun easy to use racquets.
