where lead in the handle is originally located ?

I am looking for most polarized TGK racquet, which mean it has lead at very end of the handle like PT10 (22g @1-4cm) and PT57A (30g @ 1-4 cm), but I am not sure if HEAD produce so polarized TGK's.

I have only checked TGK 238.4 and it has lead @5-10 cm ( approximately).

You can see that middle wall in the handle is getting wider at some distance from butt, which mean it's a point where lead started and you can find where it's end for example with little wire with bended end to small L shape and you will move it inside handle ( copying shape of the wall) and see where it ends.

Of course I don't want you to cut racquets, just visually .. :)

Thanks.

Just checked my TGK238.5... almost impossible to tell if there's lead due to the silicone.

Oh, yes I didn't realize that.

I have a 238.4 without pallet/buttcap that I can look at when I get home. I think that it was all plastic on the outside though. The one that you have in the picture looks like someone cut out a bit of the plastic to put the lead weight in because the equivalent amount of silicone would take up more space. In other words, it looks like a hack - though all pro stocks are technically hacks.

There is my broken PT10 which I cutted for research purposes on the first picture.

On the second it is my PT57A. I have 2 pieces. One racquet had lead regularly covered with graphite ( is it what you you call plastic?), but in second one lead in the factory was placed very close to the buttcap during molding and if they than cutted long hairpin to 27 inch long racquet, lead appear like you can see on second picture. Yes, it is not very usuall to see naked lead. Only HEAD factory customized this racquet, no one else.

There is no any TGK on the pictures.

Okay. From memory, I only recall seeing silicone in the tubes at the bottom of the hairpin. I didn't look closely at the area between the tubes but I'll take a look when I get home.

Does anyone know what the TGK racquets weigh and what their balance is in pts not cm since I don't know how to even convert this prior to being customized?

I know there are different models but do they all come with pretty much the same weight and balance?

~255g, ~290SW, 9pts HH with no pallet(20g) or buttcap(8g) or grip(14-25g)

They end up ~300g, 3pts HL fully gripped

Thanks for the info. So would it be possible to get a racquet to 5 to 6pts HL and not weigh more than say 312 grams?

Yes it is possible; adding 12g of lead around the grip at 6" from the buttcap would achieve this. 312g, 5.5 pts HL
