All, I have two brand new Head IG Speed 300 raquets. One vibrates FAR more than the other, its almost as if the racquet is defective. Both racquets have identical string jobs.

Whats going on? Is this normal?

Thanks

Both have the same tension?

Check your butt cap! On the one that vibrates I can guarantee almost 100% it is loose. Take it off, and use some tape to cover and it should stop the extra vibrations! :)

Yes, both have same tension.

Are you suggesting I take off the entire butt or the trap door?

Thanks!

Take off the trap door, check it fits back on securely, also try shaking your frame there may be something loose inside the hollow parts of the frame that you can shake out of the trap door.

If that does not solve it take off the grip and check that the butt cap itself is fitted securely.

Have you checked the weight? Head QC is one of the worst, so one might very well be over 10g lighter which would vibrate a lot more.

Odd. Did you try putting a piece of electrical tape under the trap door?

what would electrical tape do?

Fuji is suggesting that the trap door isn't fitting SNUGLY, resulting in the vibration/rattle. The tape is to hold the trap door in place better. I had a vibration on my Prestige, and the slightly loose trap door was the problem.
