Anyone know anything about Solinco Pro 8?

My bag:
Donnay Platinum 99
Dunlop Bio 200

both rackets are a bit too hefty and stiff for me I think. I am looking for something a little bit more forgiving, lighter, with a little more flex. I play 4.0 NTRP - mostly baseline but am adding aggressive net play slowly into the mix. Can anyone help with a recommendation?

Try the Dunlop Aerogel 4D 500 Tour. It is exactly what you are asking for. 99 bucks on TW too - great deal.

Thanks Overhead---what about the bio 500 tour? isn't it better than the 4D?

Don't get me wrong, the 4D 500 Tour is great and all, but he said he is looking for more flex.

That would not be the right one for him.

Mig-do you have any recommendations for a more flexy racket that you think might work? A want something with control, but not too heavy--I would say under 12 oz. at least.

thoughts so far:
volkl Organix 10 295
Technifibre TFlash 300 or 315 (maybe too stiff)
Yonnex RQis 1 tour XL 95
Dunlop 300 Tour *
Dunlop 500 Tour (maybe not-beam is too big I think-and string pattern too open)

This is the fore runner so far

add to the list:

Volkl Power Bridge 10 (295) -this seems promising

I currently use the Youtek Radical MP but have hit with the Solinco 8. I tried the Solinco on a whim as I thought the stiffer frame would add some pace to my shots. I definitely hit with a little more pace but for some reason I just didn't click with the frame. It is a great looking frame in person though. Also hit with the PB10 295 and its a real nice frame currently at a great price. Very comfortable and I was able to hit as well with it as I did with my Radicals. Only reason I didn't purchase it was that for me it did nothing better than the radical.

Thanks--I'm gonna see if anyone wants to trade my bio 200 for a bio 300 tour. I really like the dunlops.
For the radicals, is there any major difference between the microgel and the YouTek (esides the incredibly ugly pj on the MicroGel?)

best racket by far is the vantage bastcore 30.

interesting--never heard of Vantage--but the RA ratings are soooo low! Anyone else try these rackets?

I have nothing but good to say about Vantage, but I've never tried a Bast Core.

They do have a demo program though:

If you like Dunlop molds, you may well like Vantage molds as well. Key players at Vantage came from Dunlop and you can tell when you look at the sticks where they get their pedigree from.
