Im curious about trying out the liquidmetal radical but would be adding lead tape to bring it up to my usual specs. It seems like this may be problematic with the LM ridges at 2, 4, 8 and 10 though. Does anyone have any experience with adding lead in these areas?

Not a problem. Lead tape is soft and pliable. Just press down and it will conform to the shape of the LM ridges.

Thanks, I've used lead plenty of times before but was just curious. Has anyone had any first hand experience wit adding lead over LM ridges?

I have lead tape on my LM ridges at 10/2. Like goran_ace said, just push the lead tape down as you go along. And like with any racquet, make sure the contact surface is clean if you want the lead tape to adhere well. My lead tape has not come off.

What are you nervous about, Joshy?

Spiders, parenthood and usually the state of my bank balance. This is more just curiosity.

Yes. Years ago when I used the LM Rad MP I had a couple inches of lead at 2 and 10 o'clock. Its was kind of cool that the lead blended in with the silver paint so it looked really clean.
