Hello, I need to ship 4 racquets. What would be the cheapest way? will the two priority boxes taped together hold 2 racquets or more? thanks, Ryan

Two Priority boxes taped... with the 1095 code on the side of the box. If your post office only has the 1092's, you can tape 4 of those together and stick two racquets in each 'box'.

Shipping one box will be cheaper. Find a 28"x12"x8" box, and you'll be fine. You may want to bubble wrap the frames if you don't have covers for them to prevent scratches or chips.

Yeah, 2x2 USPS Priority boxes with 2 racquets in ea. Then, you tape those 2 boxes together and they will treat your package as ONE box...

One time I bought something on TW classifieds (LM Radical), the guy threw in this giant box from UPS (36x15x10 or something close to that), that I'm sure can fit 4 racquets plus some bubble wrap for protection.
Or go on Craigslist, and you can find "free boxes", and one is bound to be big enough for your needs.

I stuck two boxes together end-end so that they were long enough when I shipped some racquets out.
If you're taping, make sure it's taped very well, tape is free, damaged goods are not.

But isn't that more expensive due to the weight of the extra box?

I go to tennis clubs and get their boxes to use for shipping.

Certainly BUT when you ship 4 racquets you are already past their lower rate weight wise hence it won't be significantly more expensive...

Alternate the head at the bottom, then head at the top, then head at the bottom again, etc. The handles are usually the widest part in the racket.
