Hey all, first off I'll give you some background info to help you help me!

I am a strong 4.0 that used to play 4.5 competitively, but due to injury and moving areas, I am very out of practice...starting to train again though! My problem is that I CANNOT figure out what to do racquet wise.

I've gone through using a MG extreme (loved it), MG prestigepro (love it too, but does not compliment my bh), and PDR+ (love it too, compliments my backhand well). also went through a stint with MG radical mp (great for volleys and forehand, terrible for my backhand)

My forehand and volley technique is strong 4.5, as well as my serve...however, my backhand is 4.0 because it took me 2 years switching between 1 and 2 to finally stick with a 2H. Any suggestions?? I need something to compliment my 2hbh and give me some power, but I love players racquets for my FH and volleys.
Sorry this is so long, I really appreciate any help/suggestions!!

Not sure what to suggest as the extreme and prestige are 2 very different rackets. I personally like thin beam classic rackets and I have a 2hbh. It is not my best shot either but I think it is my form rather than the racket. The racket works well for serve, forehand, and volleys.

The only suggestions I have are to 1st decide if you want a softer flex and thin beam racket with traditional feel such as the prestige or radical; or do you want a thicker, stiffer racket such a extreme or PDR+.

There are a host of both types on the market that are pretty good.

One suggestion: try a racket with higher SW as you backhand racket head speed is probably a lot less than your serve and forehand. The higher sw will give your backhand more stability and plow - basically, you will get more pop with the slower swing speed.

Good thin beam racket with lots of pop: wilson blx 6.1 95 (either 16x18 or 18x20).

Lighter thick beam rackets: bab pure drives, wilson pro open, volkl organix 8 or the new volkl organix 8 315.

Thanks for the input man!

I've decided to try my PrestigePro out for a little while longer and try a different poly in it. Hopefully, it'll give me some more pop on the backhand. Got to play last night with it, during hitting/drilling I couldn't miss. Once points started though, I was on defense sooo much...Credit to my opponent on that one, he played exellent.

Do you think the kblade 98 might be a good mix of more pop and power, but a similar feel/plowthrough like the prestigepro?
