No matter what match you watch that has commentators they are always biased and the only thing they are good at is trash talking.

All commentators are trashed these days.

I think most of them add to the fun of watching the matches and are doing good job...Love Cahill, both Mcs, Gilbert, Pam, Carillo, Martina, Davenport...

Dont like: those Duo commentators one of which cannot pronounce the letter "R'

And Sanchez....is that her name? Dont like her at all

Does your TV have a volume control? Have you used it?

You should hear the Chinese commentators in Li Na matches. They can never ever stop talking either.

Turning off the sound - I also want to hear the ball.

watching sports on TV without commentators can be so dry. I like that one guy that was doing the SAP Open on Veetle earlier this year. Some Ken guy. He's just by himself eating a bag of chips and drinking a pop and just talking about the match. That was kinda cool and funny at the same time

How about you try watching tennis without any sound, it's horrible without the sound of the racquet striking the ball.

I've not only tried it but I do it regularly so my wife can read in the same room. You'd be astronished how easily one adapts.

If you watched the Cinnci tournment on ESPN 3 via XBOX Live you were treated to no commentators :) Just the sounds of the umpire and the game. Kind of a cool way to watch tennis.

You do realize the translations are complete wrong and purely fabricated right ? But I will admit it was very funny when I saw it.

The good thing is that sometimes they do broadcast matches without commentators

Robbie Koenig's a complete *******, do you mean the others are more biased.
Also, who was the guy named "Sam" with him at the Cincy. Sounded to me a lot like JMac.

Robbie's almost rasping (?) tone and style have begin getting on my nuts of late, lol.

Bleh! Cantonese is worse than manderin when commentating. I lived in HK when I was younger before I moved back to Sweden not to long ago :) But yeah, good point about wanting to hear the sound of the ball.

Good call, it is also rather distracting as well as the interviews that interrupt the games.

its not just tennis, american commentators love to talk about sportsmen's personal lives and how they got over this or got over that to reach the top nonsense. besides, they talk during the points too as if we're interested in their banter.

Exactly, all they talk is unneccesary garbage
