Anyone know why Berdych retired against Tipsarevic? I didn't hear them say what was hurting. I don't think I saw him call a trainer before that either. I was watching on delay and I forwarded the commercials so maybe I missed it.

And he did take an MTO between sets and his shoulder area was rubbed.

Djokovic probably would have run him silly in their QF match anyhow.

He had the same issue in Cincy or he may have beat Novak and got to the finals against Muzza

Pick your choice
A)
Berdych didnt want to retire. His shoulder said it cant hold up any more. He tried bribing it with Trainer and some Bengae but just didnt pan out.

B)
The match was fixed. I heard that someone was afraid that they would lose the 100$ wager on the match and work out with Berdych and Fixed the match.

It's funny how the most traditional kind of thread on these boards are the "X should retire" or "Y should retire" ones, and suddenly when a player actually retires, we have a big problem.

That is the best thing I've heard on the retirement poster punks.
Great!
