At least I can't really see it in those video clips. I guess he does pronate when the ball is lower.

So how does he get so generate so much spin then?
Just because he starts well below the ball?

In the second link the poronation is very clear to see (starting at 0.06s), the first clip ends too soon and in the third it's just begining. From those clips I would say he does leave it later than some though.

- The 2nd video shows excellent technique and a prominent pronation.

- The 1st video only shows his swing through the hitting zone before pronation develops.

- The 3rd video shows his swing a little past the hitting zone, but, Hewitt is hitting a little flatter than in the 2nd video, thus swinging further through the hitting zone before starting his pronation which is just beginning to develop at the end of the video.

hewitt is a pretty flat hitter by today's standards. that's why his pronation is not as pronounced and later than with some more extreme spinners.

IDK, seems like the ball is long gone when he starts pronating.
