Hi All,
Could i get some advice/opinon's of when the best time to start the backswing for the forehand or backhand is? I tend to wait till the ball is just about to bounce on my side of the court before taking my racket back and i think this is definately too late!!!!!! Should i be taking it back as the ball is passing over the net?

PLZ PLZ PLZ give me some advice as i want to get more consistency with my groundstrokes and first thing i need to sort out is the damn timing. :(

that would be a good time to turn your shoulders (do the whole unit turn) and start the takeback.

Get your racket back as soon as possible. Once you have identified what side of the body the ball is going, get it back as soon as you can.
