if i like a certain player or style, that would be becos i would like to play like that...if i can ofc (lol)...most ppl cant which is understandable...but i would try to play that style i like (this is for the overall style, not specific technique)

i know few ppl who are absolute pushers (can hit better in practice) and then they say things like 'my fav player is tsonga or berdych (who are such aggressive players) and they even make fun of defensive players :twisted:

is that some sort of subconscious instinct to 'like' aggressive style even if they clearly chose a super defensive style of playing... :confused:

The mind can do wonderful things. In my mind's eye I play exactly like Roger Federer, or rather he plays like me because I did it first. I bet some of your pusher pals have similar delusions.
