I was just trying to make a list of tennis players who love to jump on their shots, in my head of course.

These two particular players come to mind (just off the top of my head):

-Tsonga
-Federer

Who do guys think are some of the most aerodynamic players on tour, and which one do you think is the most aerodynamic, who do you enjoy to see take flight the most?

not so sure about that one... we should perform some tests in a wind tunnel.

... but i'd say djokovic. ;)

In the past, Sampras when hitting the overhead.

So these guys can now fly through the air with little to no wind resistance? They're even better than I thought. Lol.

My vote for Andre, the shaved version.

My opinion is Clark Kent is probably the most aerodynamic player, especially when he puts on his Superman costume.

For pure height among the real world, I would say that Yannick Noah, with his jumping overhead. Funny topic by the way.

second that. baldness reduces drag and increases speed.
other than that, have you heard of "Air Kei"?

Davydenko will offer the least resistance in wind tunnel tests

Hantuchova will be a close second.

I disagree. It has to be Clark Kent. Of course if you're talking baldness then Lex Luthor has to be considered.

For a normal human, Pete Sampras, with his leaping overhead isn't bad.

The guy loves to jump, I have watched him spend time practicing a 360 degree jumping overhead, just waiting for him to try it in a match. I predict we see it this year. :)

Can't believe "Air" Kei Nishikori wasn't even mentioned.

Yep, brilliant shot maker, he loves jumping into his shots, very entertaining to watch.

Damn, so much air on that:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEQHX66zX38

Schiavone, she seems pretty jumpy of the forehand.

Truly the most aerodynamic forkhand in the history of tennis.

Everyone jumps on strokes, occassionally. Even recreational club players do. Not because of 'momentum of the swing BS', basically for more power.

Hewitt was pretty 'aerodynamic' back in the day.
