What I mean is what sports event or events moved you the most or just on a personal basis. Maybe you defeated an opponent that you've never beaten or rallied from way behind in a game or match.

Some of my favorites are Reggie Jackson's three home runs on three pitches in the sixth game of the 1977 World Series. Kirk Gibson's two out two strike home off Dennis Eckersley in the first game of the 1988 World Series. The 1989 Super Bowl in which Joe Montana threw a last minute TD pass to beat the Bengals etc.

GB men's coxless fours winning gold at Beijing olympics 2008, still get Goosebumps watching replays!

Going forward hopefully my greatest sporting moment will be one of my guys winning a medal at London 2012!

Cheers

Philadelphia Flyers coming from 3-0 down in the series to level it at 3-3 with the Bruins, then them being 3-0 down in game 7, only to come back and win the game and the series 4-3.

Liverpool coming back from 3-0 down at half time to beat AC Milan in the Champions League final was also pretty memorable.

I guess I like come backs :)

That's awesome, I watched it on Espn or the Mix channel, probably a combo of both, it was epic.

I also remember watching Verdasco/Nadal Australian Open SF in 2009 live on ESPN early in the morning. That was by far an insanely epic match, but it ended the worst way with Dasco double faulting on match point.

Also watched Wimbledon 08 final, which was beyond epic.

As far as non-tennis stuff goes

Super Bowl whatever when the Giants came back to shock the Patriots and ruin their perfect season, that was a crazy game.

I think I remember watching a 4 or 5 overtime hockey game like 10+ years ago, which was ridiculously epic at the time.

Tiger Woods 13-18 on saturday at the US Open in 08. That was Tiger's peak, the crowd at Torrey Pines was so hype that day, especially love the pitch in on 17 where after Tiger looks at Stevie and just laughs.

Tennis wise it would have to Blake almost beating Andre at the open.

The 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks win over the NY Yankees in game 7 of the World Series. Also, the Red Sox win over the Yankees in game 7 of the world series, (the rally monkey game)

2010 AFL Grand Final. 101,000 people at the game. Felt physically ill watching the last few minutes.

The entire 2005 Australian Open.

Australia World Cup qualifier against Uruguay in 2005

2000 Sydney Olympics - Mens 4x100 Freestyle relay

2004 - American League championship series.

Steve Waugh's 100 in his final test.

Dream Team One, Barcelona Olympics 1992. Watched all their games courtside. Jordan, Barkley, Ewing, Malone, Magic Johnson, that was fun.

The Rumble In The Jungle, Ali-Foreman. My granddad woke me up in the middle of the night to watch this. We sat there in the dark by the TV, picture was black/white, granddad smoked his cigar, and I was so happy.

I would say the Sydney 2000 Olympics in general. That was voted the best Olympics to that point. That 4x100 relay was incredible. I loved the air guitar by Klim and Callus. Badass ****.

Gardner stop Karelin.

VDH stops Thorpe in 200m and sets world records in 100 and 200 free. Medaled in 50, 100 and 200.

Krayzelbrug dominates 100 and 200 back.

Dimas gets third gold.

I recall Goran rooting on fellow Croat lifter.

Alexai Nemov won the all around.

Michael Johnson gets his back to back 400m gold, and ends career on that.

Cathy Freeman (aboriginal) wins 400m gold for AUS.

Nothing made me feel about sports the way the Sydney Olympics did.

Love van den Hoogenband.

One that stands out for the 99 FA Cup semi final replay between Man United and Arsenal. Great end to end action, sending off, saved penalty and a wonder goal to win it. Can't ask for more excitement than that.

Watching it in the middle of the night when i had a physics test the next morning made it even more memorable.

Yea, VDH was on another level. Beating Thorpe and Popov at their own game. I'm not sure anyone has ever had a better individual freestyle meet. They also made it seem like he came out of nowhere, but he was peaking going into those games.

The most powerful and emotional sports moment I ever saw was on Halloween, 1975. Eddie Giacomin, beloved long time goalie for the New York Rangers, was no longer as effective as he'd been, and the Rangers traded him to the Red Wings on Oct. 29. The Rangers next game was two days later, at home against the Red Wings. The Madison Square Garden crowd stood and cheered loudly for Giacomin, cheered for him the entire game, booing when their own Rangers scored a goal against him.

If we are talking about live events:

I've seen three no-hitters - Ryan(2) and David Wells(perfect game).

Saw Flutie's Hail Mary.

In Amsterdam, my buddy was picked from the crowd at the sex show we were watching. He had to crawl around, his hands tied behind his back, blindfolded, with a d*ldo in his mouth. He had to try to hit the target by the crowd reactions.

This was after smoking "what will put us on our asses the fastest" and this guy had never smoked before. (that's what we asked for. My other buddy kept saying over and over that he was seeing red spots everywhere or something like that. Hilarious.)

The guy was actually really good on stage. Crowd loved him.
