I am a complete novice in all things tennis, just coming to the sport (very) late in life.

I have acquired a racquet I would ask your opinions on, if you don't mind:

It's a Prince racquet, with the following markings...
On the neck, it has 'Air', with an elongated 'O' shape after 'Air'. Following this it has 'Hybrid' above 'Blue'

It has expanded holes at 12 and 6 o'clock

'Triple threat' markings (10 and 2 o'clock)

'Sweet spot expansion system' 9 and 3 o'clock.

'Midplus' at 6 o'clock

105" head size, 58 +/-5 lb string tension

275 gm (unstrung) wieght

Is this a recognised racquet? Is it any good?

I welcome your comments.

Is this your racket? Then read this: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/feedback.html?pcode=PSP03B

No, the expanded holes are not so big and they only appear at 12 and 6 o'clock.

The racquet is predominantly dark blue, with a black scratch guard over the top.

'AirO, Triple Threat, Sweet Spot Suspension' are all terminology from previous Prince generation frames. There's nothing wrong with the frame for a person new to the game. It is very light at 9.7 oz. As you get better by acquiring the techniques needed to enjoy the game, you may find this frame too light.

Thanks Esgee, that's good to know

Yeah, that's what I first thought, but there is no '03' anywhere, which led me to think it was an older model, as Esgee seems to have confirmed.
