As my day started i was somewhat really restless and tired. Had tons of errands to run, had to fill out paperwork for job.. today just wasnt my day. After finishing some paperwork at the high school im coaching at there is a thrift store that was nearby.. For awhile i really thought about if i should go in and try my luck when most of the other times i failed. So i said hey what the heck the moment i walked in and went to the sporting goods i found this beauty for only 10 dollars!!

hey, that's a really nice find, but kind of disappointing because based on the title, i was expecting maybe an old woodie that had completely warped into a circle where the head was meeting the buttcap that the thrift store was selling as artwork. now that would have been a crazy find. :D

I find it funny to see the evidence of people "scooping" up tennis balls....

I think I have about 4 of those in my closet somewhere. Haven't seen them in years.

Great get. Ten bucks is common thievery, even with the scrapes you show. The leather grip even looks to be in surprisingly good condition.

I can't count the crosses to confirm, but I think that's the 107" Chang 730? I've got one of those I chopped down to 27" and leaded to preference. Pretty much turned it back into a POG.

The Chang OS will always have a special place in my heart. It was the racquet I wanted in high school (circa 1990) but didn't have the cash to buy. Great paint job, awesome platform racquet.

I think it's mostly people trying to stop dragging the racquet when run wide on the forehand side. One of my friends that I hit with does this all the time and has completely ate through several racquets.
