CB 3.3 issues

Hi all,

I bought cb 3.3 and I absolutely love them, but have issues with shoelace holder (or whatever it is), marked with red in picture. This happened first time after 2 months, which I got fixed (marked with blue), and now again...

Is anyone else having issue with that also or is my feet strange? :)

I am worried about buying another Nike shoe, since CB and vapor 8 both seem to have the same holder... Maybe I should switch to Barricade 6?

The blue circle is normal wear and tear but the eyelet (red circle) is a big problem. I'd contact Nike about that.

You play on clay, right?

Mostly on clay, yes.

The blue mark is what shoemaker fixed once first eyelet broke - replaced with new and stitched through plastic, it was the only option to make them at least a bit useful again.

I bought them in some local store, I am not sure if I even saved receipt... It doesn't matter though, I will buy new but I am worried that it might happen again... :/

I just bought my first pair of 3.3's, but I have heard that those loopholes that hold the laces have trouble and can break.

I encountered the same problem with my first pair of Courtballistec 3.3. I played primarily on clay this last summer and I think that the dust from the courts gets into the "eyelets" and makes them really weak. I ripped through three eyelets on just on of the shoes, but I had already qualified for the outsole guarantee so I just sent them in anyway.

I had an eyelet break on my 3.3's too. I had ordered them through Nike's online store and after talking to a customer service rep sent them back as a "Flawed" return. Got a credit for the full amount on my credit card a week later.

I never had any prolblem with shoe eyeholes and I only use 3.3

But what color is that man? Red/Black? I LIKE IT.

Ha, seems thet new Vapor 9 have different, plastic eyeholes....
