I currently use the Wilson k pro open and love it. My racquets look like they're cracking and I was going to buy the newer generation. Is the juice 100 the newest generation? I remember feliciano Lopez using the k pro open. Anyone tried both? I'll probably end up demoing both but was curious what people here have to say. Thanks.

I played with pro open and juice 100. Speaking in short pro open is better in all aspects (except perhaps serving).

Juice is not replacement of Blx pro open, although specs are very similar.
There is new Blx Pro open 2012 which should be available at the end of february.

Oh interesting! Thanks. I'll try to get a hold of some demos. My club got taken over by head recently so it's hard to get Wilson demos.

There is a 2012 pro open coming 2/22 I think to online retailers. Pic here:

Interestingly I have seen prices listed at 159.99. It has similar stats to the Juice 100 which is at the normal price. I do not know if they are trying to phase it out or make it an affordable stick or just not updating it.

I can say I use the Pro Open BLX and I demo'd the Juice 100 for quite a while and for me it is worse in every category than the Pro Open, but that is with a different string setup than I am used to. However, the Juice Pro (96 in head, bit heavier) was amazing. So much better to me than the BLX Pro Tour.

I would try the Pro Tour or wait and try the new Pro Opens at the end of the month. The juice 100 to me is a downgrade to the pro open.

I mean I would try the Juice Pro, or Pro Open 2012.

I demoed the Juice 100 and really liked it, but I haven't used the Pro Open so I can't compare the two. The Juice 100 felt solid and did not feel nearly as stiff as it's 72 rating would imply.
