What is meant by stability of a racquet?

I never realised this before (throughout most of the 8 years I've used my H tour) but sometimes when I try to hit a forehand, I feel the grip twist out of my hand. To clarify, I use a SW forehand grip but sometimes as I make contact, the grip would move into an eastern forehand grip.

Now going back to my question, what exactly is meant by stability?

Could this unwanted grip-switching be caused by the fact that I use a smaller grip than "recommended"? I've grown up using this racquet with a grip size of 4 3/8th or L3. I have pretty gigantic hands and 4 5/8th or larger would be the "recommended" grip.

Any comments or input would be very helpful thanks!

Yes, a bigger grip would probably. You can play fine with a smaller one, but only as long as you hit the sweetspot everytime. Try adding an overgrip to see if it helps. Adding more weight (3and 9, at the handle near the throat etc) could be a good idea too.
