If the weight and balance of two different racquets are matched to be identical, would the swingweight be identical also? If not, what other factors influence SW?

No, the swingweight doesn't have to be the same while the balance and weight might be the same it all depends on the mass distribution.

racquet #1:

racquet #2:

====000==000====

Both would have the same total mass, and the same balance (even balance in this case). But #1 would have much higher swingweight since the mass is more towards the ends of the racquet vs #2 the mass is more concentrated in the middle.

A simple explanation is that you have a racket that weighs 300 grams.

Now the first racket has a polarized set-up with weight at both ends of the racket. So to make this extreme let's say 150 grams at both ends which will mean that the balance is exactly in the middle

Racket number two has 100 grams at the end. 100 grams in the middle and 100 grams at the other end which means another mass distribution which means same weight and balance as racket number one but not same swingweight.

Great explanation. I've attempted to explain this a few times over the years, and have yet to give such a simple and easily understood explanation.

In addition to the overall weight and balance, if you weigh the heads and the handles of 2 rackets to be the same, then you get a match SW?
