I'm sorry if I'm wrong because I only watched the first minute. Their groundstrokes are so inconsistent, around 3.0 level, they always lob or hit the net, but their serve is solid which would maybe bring them to a 3.5. Although I don't agree with the NTRP scales and would call this a 3.0 match.

hard to judge from that camera angle

But

Looks like 3.5-4.0

reasoning .. more than 3.0 because they have decent strokes and serves but are somewhat inconsistent and seem to make too many unforced errors to be 4.5 or higher

Also the heavier player really doesnt cover the court very well. If he could get in better shape I think he would have good potential to move up though.

Definitely better than 3.0 based on athletic ability and the quality of their good shots.

It seems to me that these guys were practicing and maybe if they were playing a league match they could dial down the errors, go for a little less and play at a 4.0 level.

But if this is all they have and if they cannot sacrifice trying to hit hard for control then they would lose to many 3.5 pushers .... making them 3.5's.

3.5 for closest player. cannot really see far court well enough to say. Serve lacks spin and would be relatively weak for 4.0 or above. Ground strokes are OK but lack consistency and power. Backhand slice looks relatively weak. The top level for 4.0 in my area includes a number of guys who played high school and some college tennis. These guys would get killed by the top half of 4.0 level. I could see them losing some at the 3.5 level but being competitive there.

What level are the players? Do they have a rating or play in leauge or tourney?
