View Full Version : 2012 Rebel 98 vs. YT IG Radical Pro
Has anyone hit both frames and can compare the two? I really enjoy the Rad Pro but am very intrigued by the Rebel 98.

The Radical Pro is a good stick. Pretty solid groundstrokes, smooth volleys, and more pop on serve. It's not great, though. It's a bit too flexible for my tastes. I didn't demo the Rebel 98, but I did demo the more advanced version of it, the 95. It's also quite flexible, but that's more of a signature Prince trait so I expected it. The Rebel felt smooth and comfortable, but lacked the same power as the Radical of course. I liked the Radical slightly more.

I owned a IG Radical Pro for 4 weeks and it was nice to serve with but I moved on to the new Prestiges which are much better for me. I also currently own a Rebel 98 but it is not my main singles racket. Only had the Rebel a week and it is nice and good fun. If I wasn't playing with my Prestiges, I would play a match with the Rebel over the Radical. I like the Rebel, the Rad Pro didn't quite click (but one of the best serving rackets I've owned).

Rebel is a great stick good power and spin in unreal I feel like i never miss. The serve has great spin one of the best rackets I ever played with. Coming from PK 5G and i think the rebel is easier on the elbow

Well as what I think, I demoed the rebel 98, I can say its an control-oriented racquet, While the Pro is also a control, I can say that the Rebel98 would win if its control, But power? I think Pro gets it.

up... :o.. Anyways , as far as I've seen I can also give the rebel for 2.0 to 4.0? I feel like this racket is really a easy to swing. while the radical I should say is for 5.0 to 6.0 players
