any members still hit with the KPS88? have you guys bought any 88s recently? they seem very scarce nowadays, but usually have at least one floating around for sale on the auction site. I've been planning on buying a couple more to ensure i'll be able to use this racquet for a while.

i'm wondering if other kps88 users will be doing the same or will be opting to switch frames since these have become kind of hard to come by.

I still have my pair and love them, but rarity and lack of consistency on my part keep them from being my main frames.

Good luck finding them, they are almost as rare as those darn K90's!

I got mine back from my bud. I convinced him that he plays better with the Diablo Mid (he actually does), so we swapped. It's like getting back with your first love. I just put some 17g nat gut on her and the feel, control, and power are magical.

Before that, the only new 88 I saw someone wanted $250 on eboy. I sent him an offer of $150, and he countered with $245 :>/

Ahhh, if anyone wants to unload one or two in 4 1/2, i'll take em off your hands... same with PS85 reissues... :)

Just played two sets with my 88. Serves, volleys, cut, flat,TS, you name it, the 88 does it all with incredible feel. It is good to have her back.

There're a bunch out there. People slowly selling their stock, but you may have to pay a premium for them.

I'm holding my remaining new PS 85 and K88 as a collection investment. Never know - everything is being collected. I play with the K88 and switch off with my other rackets for variety and different experiences. Seem to be add more enjoyment to playing.

When did you switch away? I remember you using them for what seemed a long time!

It's the best frame ever for me. I just wish Wilson had made it a little more user friendly for the rest of the crowd but with the same material. Maybe the next Sampras frame will be close. I haven't played with the new Fed.

Has anyone played with both?

Anyone that wants to sell one, two or a few let me know.....

pretty recently. I was tec 320ing for awhile, grabbing the k90 at times, drifting back to the 88 when feeling confident...but these days I am all in with the vcore 95, incredible all around frame and very easy to swing. Has a lot of power too.

Hmmm, funny you say that! There have a few people on here who have switched to the 95D, and quite a few at my club who have too. Yonex is sure doing a number on getting rackets out to people!

I keep drifting back to the 88 as well, but it's a broken hearted love affair.
