The Gamma RZRT which is 12.1 oz apparently has a medium-high power level based on tennis warehouse reviews. How can this be possible? I thought they only gave high power level ratings to under 11 oz racquets?
So based on that the RZRT must be pretty amazing right?

Meh, KPS88 is one of the highest powered rackets of all time and it's almost 13.0oz stock. Weight does equal more power! :)

Pay no attention to the power level listed in the specs page; it's completely meaningless and often just flat out wrong. The basic rule of thumb is that high power comes from high swing weight (with additional help from big head size, open string pattern, and stiff beam).

If you want a good idea of a frame's power level, check out the TWU page for power zone comparison.

static weight; swing weigh (balance) and stiffness all attribute to the power rating.

I once bought a Wilson nfury racquet which was well below 11 oz, but it had a flex of 56 or 58 and was very very low powered.
