I'm slightly confused by this, can't find it on the archive on tw, was it released in the US? Also, where did it sit in the line up, wasn't it at about the same time as the tour 90s? If so didn't they have a 95 in that or were they not out at the same time?
cheers

You are confusing two rackets here. There was the Hyper Pro Staff 6.1 95, which was red. Then there was the Hyper Pro Staff Tour 95, which was black and yellow. The 6.1 was the normal 6.1 line that it's always been. The Tour 95 was supposed to be a friendlier version of the Tour 90 (Fed's racket at the time). I used the Tour 95, and it is unique in that Wilson doesn't always update this model, although now they have the Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 BLX. Contrary to the "Six.One" in its name, I would consider this latest offering the Tour 95's descendant whereas the Wilson BLX Six.One 95 16x18 is the Hyper Pro Staff 6.1 95 descendant...I know confusing right?

looks like tw sold it for a while at least, just seemed like a lot of 95 frames but maybe just before the tour 95.......

Still found the specs now it was a year or two earlier than I originally thought!

Oh wow, my mistake. I didn't even know there was ever anything called strictly a Hyper Pro Staff 6.0 95. Now my head hurts...Why can't racket manufacturers have more logical naming schemes?

HPS 6.0 95 was a re-release of the Original 6.0 95 with a hyper pro staff paintjob. But I have read that the HPS version had a different layup, with hypercarbon (high-modulus graphite) added to the hoop to stiffen it. The stiffness spec they listed supports this. It was only released in Europe but TW got their hands on a batch or two. There were actually two versions: one with roughly the same specs as the Original 6.90 95 (~345g strung) and another that was 340 g unstrung. TW had the former. I wonder if Dolgopolov is actually playing with this racquet rather than the Original.

I think it must of made sense to them once! I got the 6.0 and 6.1 thing originally as you have to be able to tell them apart when you have more than one thing called a pro staff but i'm sure here in Europe you could get the , 6.0 original 6.1 classic the hyper versions and the tour 95 all within about a year of each other.....I think that was when i gave up tring to figure out what was closest to the 6.0 95!

I see it now thank you!
So did he use that paintjob after the tour 90 or before it?They didn't make a 90 in that colour scheme did they?

I love the hps and have a few of Dolgo's racquets and their definitely not the hyper version.

Walking into the courts with Dolgo playing you could really hear the distinctive sound and see the power level of the original pro staff 6.0 95.

How would you compare the HPS to the Original 6.0 95? In terms of power and feel, in particular?

Before the Tour 90. HPS 6.0 95 had a box beam throat, was not available in the US initially. Owned a pr BITD.
