I recieve my new Wilson - and what a surprise

silicone in handle -brand new Wilson Pro Staff 6.1 95 BLX with may be 2*5,6 grams under butcap ...

specification ... the same like in TW

Please if someone have this racket - check please under butcap .... this is soo strage for me

I believe the "Amplifeel" is just silicone.

Amplifeel is actually (as far as I know) some fibers in the handle that are supposed to better transmit vibrations from the frame to the player's hand. Basically the BLX is supposed to damp shock and the Amplifeel takes the vibrations that are still present in the frame down at the handle and make them more noticeable.

Silicon should have nothing to do with it. Silicon acts as a damper and would not amplify anything.

It is strange ... wilson change the weight and balance for retail racket with silicon ...

Maybe they use silicone to get it to the desired spec, allthough that is not normally their strength, I understand...

just for info ,

i check in store - they have 7 frames prostaff 95
and 2 rackets normal weight only
2 rackets + 5grams
2 rackets + 7grams
last - + 13 grams !!!!!
