I've read very negative reviews of this frame (both MP and OS) when compared to the POG. However, I've never used the famous POG. Can you compare it to the Ozone Tour?

You mean this NXG Graphite ?

It plays stiffer than Ozone but still very comfortable, heavier and less maneuvrable, better plowthrough and control (18*20), less pop from the stringbed...
But very good sensations, a nice racket to hit with !
[EDIT] : I'm talking about the Mid ! And I realize I'm out of the topic, not the gooed racket lol
But you can not really compare anything to the new Ozone and EXO3 Princes in terms of maneuvrability, headspeed ability and playability... Just nothing compares :)

I got a pair recently : stiffer than Ozone but still very comfortable, heavier and less maneuvrable, better plowthrough and control (18*20), less pop from the stringbed...

Uh... there was a triple threat graphite. I'm sure OP meant the TT :)

yes, thank you.
They didn't like it at all in that thread, but they are comparing it to the old POG, that's why I'm asking to compare it to the Ozone.

Whoops :)

Similar muted feel (even though the Ozone is more-so). Depending on WHICH TT Graphite you used (there were 3: M/MP/OS), the comparison changes. The OS was a solid frame, but too muted. There's a much more raw/crisp characteristic to the POGs. If you really liked the Ozone Tour, you'd probably find the TT to be in the middle ground. I liked the more open pattern of the OS/MP. The weight is a little low, so expect to customize and weight a little bit. The mid was more maneuverable vs. the Ozone, the other two were more along the lines of the Ozone (once you get it up to weight I'd call it a wash).

hum, thanks! I actually don't know which version is it. MP or Os, def. not the mid. How is the maneuverability at 27,5"? Weight is low, but SW is pretty high... (any chance of including the nblade to the comparison? totally different racquets, but also low weight/high SW and both at the same price here...)

Back when the TTs were out, I was actually playing with sawed down Chang Graphites, so at the time I was used to a higher swingweight. The frames were a little bit sluggish for their weight, but nothing out of the ordinary for an extended length racquet. It's been years since I've played with them, so I can't compare with any more recent frames :(

I just looked up the specs, and I don't recall the midplus feeling like a 356 sw .

The NXG Graphite was supposed to be the next big thing from Prince. It had graphite, titanium, tungsten, carbon, a crossbar, and that "Experimental" technology.
I'm big POG fan, so I tried the NXG, but basically, it sucked, just like the earlier Triple Threat Graphite models.
Just stick with the real deal, the POG midplus, the oversized (or if you're lucky, the POG Longbody).

The Prince TT Graphite OS used to be my main racquets around 10 years ago. All I can say they are very good racquets and I loved them. I agree it's a little muted but the power and control is exceptional for the headsize.
I'm looking for the mid plus version but it's hard to come by.
