What should I demo?

I am a 3.5 or 4.0 player and have been using a KBlade 98 for a few years. I enjoy the control but I think I want to switch to something with an open string pattern and something with a little more power. I like the feel of my wifes PB V1 but it is a little too powerful, so I am thinking I will try the Organix 8. What else should I try?
