Under your legs? Like, the muscle opposite the quads?

When rehabbing my knees during a bout with chondromalacia, warmed up on a ellyptical trainer for 10 minutes, stretched my calves, back, hips, groin, quads, and hamstrings, then proceeded to lunge 3 sets of 10 to start forward, then to each side. Your hamstrings are just tight but that eventually led to knee pain, achilles tendonitis, and plantar fascia pain.

I usually feel the lunge on the quads, hams, and butt muscles. If you go down slowly you should feel it hit all those muscles.
