I mean true dark horses.

I can see Bellucci getting deep and upsetting Nole. He has a big serve, moves well on clay and a big lefty forehand.

Raonic. Huge serve and probably the best 2 shot player on the tour now. If he is serving well, I dont think Nadal will be able to defend.

Dolgopolov. Is getting better every match and plays well on clay.

Raonic??? Weird choice. What has he done of notice on clay?
This year I would say Berd and Ferrer and maybe Delpo.

Would like to see Raonic do better than bombing out against Berrer last year.

Gulbis.................is he even worth hoping for these days? He looked so promising in 2007 and 2008. Bags of ability, he doesn't seem to have any motivation at all.

I do not like Raonic. He is incomprehensibly boring to watch. But, yes, he could definitely beat Nadal. The only problem is Nadal does very well in tie-breaks. So unless Raonic is meant to rally to break Nadal, I can't see him actually winning.

Dolgopolov and Tomic are both capable of doing strange things to the draw, although the Dog collapses very easily.

Verdasco and Tsonga are notiously volatile and can play well in the moment. I'd say these have the biggest hope of causing an upset.

Del Potro and Isner hopefully won't do well, since clay isn't really their thing, but they are undeniably threats.

The most likely 'upset' is going to come in Murray's quarter, since the guy's been playing so badly. That's Ferrer, Gasquet, Isner, Dolgopolov and Tomic.

I haven't even mentioned clay-court specialists and Frenchmen. Really, if you take away the top two, it begins to look like the women's draw.

I can see Gasquet taking out Murray in the 4th round based on Andy's form this clay season. Then again, this is Gasquet playing in France we're talking about.

Wawrinka has been playing well, could reach the quarters.

That's why he's the dark horse. If he'd done something he would've been one of the favorites, don't you think?

None. It's going to be the same faces for a while :/

Fed/Nole Rafa/Murray,

or worse

Fed/Nole, Rafa/Ferrer

IF Fed beats Nole again it'll be Fed/Nadal once again. Rafa will beat Ferrer in a few tight sets as always, where Ferrer just won't...quite...have...enough.

Fed might win a set off nadal in the final. If Nole wins, then horray another Nadalovic final. Boring. Although it'll be fun to see them both wheeled off court on stretchers after an 8 hour final, lol.

If Fed had been #2 this could have been the most interest Major in a while; but no, now it is going to be the boringest in a while.

Dolgopolov likes clay the best so a surprise run would not be a shock. Brian Baker right now if he can recover full strength after all he played this week could be a dangerous floater. He's very confident from having won over 30 matches this year, Fed, Nadal and Djokovic won around 30 too, albeit with higher ranked competition. Almagro could be a threat too. Isner is always dangeorus.

I would pick Raonic winning a slam over Berdych, Ferrer or Del Potro(another slam in his case.)

I agree . And I also agree that Raonic is boring...snooze-o-rama.
