Let's try and fit players in their prime into the rankings now. I'll start.

Lleyton Hewitt - 4
Andy Roddick - 4/5

Agassi?
Sampras?

Feel free to add more players.

Tough one. All of them were really, really good. I think Roddick would be ranked lowest, but he's still top 6 for sure.

Would be great if all played together.

Sorry Djokovic would actually be ahead of Nadal as he is showing now.

How can Djokovic be below Nadal when in reality he is ahead now when both are at their prime.

Prime is a very loose term. Players have prime years, they have peak years, they have prime years much better than others, they even have peak years better than others, matchups change, momentum changes. It is stupid to think you can create a definite ranking with all in their primes, as it would be the same each year in that scenario. However one thing for sure is Nadal would totally dominate clay with all these players in their primes, and that would ensure him no worse than a top 3 ranking. The points he would collect on clay combined with regularly strong (quarters or better of almost all events) on other surfaces, would make it impossible for more than 2 at most of the others to outrank him, especialy as there are too many tough hard courters for anyone to dominate there, and Sampras and Federer would not be able to dominate grass with the other there and with Agassi, Nadal (both benefiting from todays slow grass), Roddick, and Hewitt all challenging from behind.

Yeah the 1992 Agassi who was year end #9 and the 1993 Agassi who was year end #24. Yet in an all star field he climbs up to #4 those years. Funny stuff.

I think Sampras is lower than 2nd under current court conditions and strings. He's losing more at the net, and his big forehand is getting retrieved and turned into an error more.

Hey bro, how are things? Good? By the way how is the weather in lala land? Agassi is basically a poor man's Djokovic, no way he is above peak Djokovic who made mincemeat out of Nadal (completely) and Federer (mostly) for a year.

Agassi at his peak strikes the ball harder, earlier, and cleaner than Djokovic does. Djokovic is light years ahead in movement and overall defense though.

Sometimes the truth needs to be kept hidden. Nadcamp has feelings too.

Serve: Djokovic
Forehand: Agassi
Backhand: Even
Volleys: Agassi
Return: Agassi
Slice: Both Dunce
Speed/Agility: Djokovic
Proceiption/Movement: Djokovic
Strategy: Agassi
Mentality: Agassi
Aggresion: Agassi
Defence: Djokovic

Agassi and Djokovic may look similiar but they are diffent in reality. Agassi is very compact in his stroke.....his backhand uses the shoulder so well and it likes half a stroke sometimes.

Agassi hits better DTL Backhands....move the opponent way better than Djokovic.

Nadal and Federer gots win over Agassi when he was over the hill, back hurting.

They would still gets win over a Younger Agassi. Though if the 92 Agassi had the 99 Agassi mind....he would be impossible to beat.

Agassi is the most talented striker of the ball of all time. No one comes close.

I'm not sure in what world Agassi hits a better DTL backhand and has a better return of serve than Djokovic 2.0. Also people have to stop going on about Agassi hitting the cleanest ball of all time etc, the dude played with an OS for most of his career. I sincerely believe that Davydenko or maybe Nalbandian hit s a cleaner ball (but not as hard).

Agassi basically brought in to fashion the game that Djokovic and his ilk are playing today. If Agassi was around today, he'd do the same thing - take the current baseline game and raise it one more level.

You guys are missing a few people like Jimmy Connors and John Macenroe. And I dont feel like roddick was ever good enough to be considered TOP PLAYERS OF ALL TIME in their prime!
