With Novak and Rafa playing just so terribly Roger is sure to win, allez!

My favorite is that "Federer deserves to win." How dare you defeat Federer!

So much wishful thinking, it's hilarious. My favorite is "Federer looks dominant"

Federer has dropped two sets so far. Nadal and Djokovic, none.

I don't always agree with you, but Bleacher Report truly is a cesspool of laughable content. They run the same kind of article/ad-shoveling list during every tournament for every player and the rationale never gets any smarter.

7th reason ... no, he won't, unless someone breaks Nada's knees with a hammer and Djoko's allergies kick in ... stupid article

No way does Nadal lose this year. Djokovic likely to be the runner-up this year instead of Federer imo.

The guys at bleacher report are so helpful. They tell what to do with your brain after reading their articles. Put it in the name in fact.

LOLville reads the Bleacher Report. Kinda explains why you post the way you do.

Dumb articles like that are a great reason to use a customized RSS feedreader and get news/opinion from better sources.

ROFLMAO.

I wouldn't be surprised. His arguments when trying to belittle Fed under his various accounts are very similar in regard to logical soundness

guys, I would love to see anybody, even Satan winning RG, anybody that little silly buttpicker from Spain. unfortunately, I don't believe Fed can do it. even prime Fed wasn't able to do anything against Rafa at RG. He got humiliated too many times.

Djoko is probably the only one who can do it atm.

only in 2008, the other ones had moments where Fed was actually playing well, I mean as well as you possibly can given the match up and the surface

1 reason fed won't win. Nadal.

Does this person even watch tennis? Are they getting 2011 and 2012 mixed up? Lunacy.

LOL, I was reading the article and waiting for the part that said Berdych, del Potro, Djokovic, and Nadal would all lose before meeting Roger.

Because that's the only way Fed's gonna win RG this year.

From the article:

The greatest threats to Federer's quest for a title, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, remain injured and struggling to find confidence in their games.

Uhhh... WHAT??!! This is a troll article par excellence. Surely this could not have been written by any fan of Federer's.

EDIT: I was right, the author of the article is a Sampras fanatic. This merely seemed like a pre-emptive attempt to denigrate Roger miraculously winning RG, especially considering it was written before the start of the tournament with no mention of the tough draw Federer had in store.

lol @ Nadal searching for swagger

Nadal is about the furthest thing from having swagger. He's never had it. He constantly belittles himself and tries to play the underdog.

Why Roger wont win: Hes had 5 chances at RG to beat Nadal. 4 in finals and he couldnt do it:

In 05 he couldnt beat an 18 year old Rafa who had never been deep in a slam.

In 06 he couldnt beat a Nadal that was low on confidence for arguably the first time ever

In 07 he couldnt beat Nadal after beating him 2 weeks earlier, Nadals first clay loss in 2 years

In 08 he couldnt beat Nadal

In 2011 he couldnt beat Nadal who had not won at least 2 clay masters for the first time since 04.

Why a change?

Very convincing points in the article.

Expect Federer not to drop many sets in this tournament,
He's never dropped sets in the RG. Ever.

Djokovic is battling health concerns and will need to shake those off in order to defeat Federer.
Such as ?
And I didn't know you could shake off health issues.

Nadal is not in the right state of mind.
Lol. Sure, whatever.

Was he ever ?

Finally, the drama of another Federer and Nadal final would be thrilling for the sport of tennis. Tennis needs this kind of match-up and you can bet that Federer, now 30 years old, will win his second French Open title and 17th Grand Slam title.
I'd like to know how much YOU have bet on it ??? Lol.

Even GoatBaah would have done this much much better :D

But the intention of the OP is to take a dig at Roger Federer through this.

I remember Jackson Vile pulling up "Federer weak Era Champ" articles from bleacher report and calling it the gospel.

Now of course, Bleacher Report is a joke **** rag.

Bleacher Report has always, and will always be awful. Doesn't make it right to cherry pick the articles that you like though.

Right, because we know that other posters don't post things like that about other players. Now do they? I am sure if there were to do that you would be admonishing them as well, no?

Almagro’s game usually doesn’t fare well on clay

So I will trust their expertise in this instance also.

The moment I saw this thread I was about to write the exact same thing:)

I don't even think it's Djokovic, if it wasn't for Nadal Federer would've "willed himself through" but each time he has to take out the Serb he knows that there's 1 more match to be played. That's a great demotivator.

Well the results are, so far, not what I had expected. However, we will see when he faces Novak.
