Hats in the French crowd.

Seems like everyone is wearing the same style/type of hat in the audience.

I've noticed it for the last few years. Looks like a bowler/fedora type of hat.

Are these provided for the crowd under their seats or something? Where can I find one for sale? I like it.

They're for sale in the official RG site (check the "online shop" bit to the right of the homepage). I guess they sell them on the grounds too. They're very expensive though; the better-looking model is 90€ and the other one 45€.

The hat you see on most folks is the "Trilby" hat sold for 45€ on site.......the 90€ version is vey nice and made from imported straw from Ecuador ( I sh*t you not) it's on the freaking label. Many of the folks you see wearing the hats are VIPs and notice most all are in suits / very well dressed...they get the hats for free and it's part of the seating package.
