Murray is going to win Wimbledon this year. I never really noticed how skilled he was until Nadal lost and I was forced to endure watching other player's matches and the only player who really showed promise is Murray.

He's ending points a lot quicker than he ever has and he's serving like a beast. I think Lendl has really helped him mentally and now I think he truly believes he can win a slam.

He has gotten a great rhythm going on his serve over the last few matches. Second serve points won is way above average for him as well.

Murray will fall short against Djokovic in the Finals....and had Murray had to meet Nadal in the semis, he would have been toast.

I'm calling Fed vs Murr in final, Fed wins, regains #1 spot, ties Sampras for most weeks at #1.

He's pulling the trigger on important points and making a statement with those shots. That 101 mph backhand winner is so unlike the Murray of old. He sure is playing like he wants it.

Djokovic will win wimbledon 2012. Murray will retain 4th place in ATP ranks.

Cheers

This disqualifies you from being taken seriously.

Murray won't beat Djokovic...and he wouldn't have beaten Nadal either.

Unfortunately for Murray that match with Ferrer today has probably extinguished his chances.
I can't see him having much left in the tank to beat Djokovic.
Murray's draw has been horrendous and I think it'll take it's toll.

With Federer inching his way towards possibly recapturing the #1 ranking, very few people believe Roger would be able to hold onto it for longer than a few months anyway. Novak is not exactly dominating, either; although he is getting the job done, it's awkward for me calling Novak "the undisputed king of men's tennis" mainly because of the beatdowns that Rafa dealt Novak on clay this year. Rafa too is somewhat busy this year facing down his demons, and my point in all this is to suggest that there is something soft and malleable, it seems, about the pecking order at the very top of men's tennis at this very moment. Murray and Tsonga both know this--their semifinal match could be special.

Bolox. Federer regains it if he wins. As Federer winning means Novak cannot make the finals. Keep up, bro.

It's possible...but not really.

This could be to Murray what 2001 was to Henman - his best chance at the title with his nemesis being upset early (Sampras for Tim, Nadal for Andy). But Henners fell to an inspired big server with questionable mental fortitude in Goran Ivanisevic. Tsonga, while not as big a server, could fit into that mold nicely especially since Wimbledon might be his best shot at a Slam.

the only way muzzah can win is if he beats jo in 3 and fed beats novak in a 5 set epic and injures his back

I think it will be Murray fed in the final too, but I reckon Murray's going to take him in 3. There's not much love lost between the two of them and I think Lendl will use fed's bad sport comments about murray after he won in the oz open to get him fired up.

If Tsonga shows up for the match, brings the A game and keeps his head in the right place, Murray will not beat him. Muzz has beaten guys without weapons to get to the semis. Tsonga has an arsenal when he's 'on.'

Murray return too well for Tsonga. this is bad matchup for Jo. when Jo plays a guy that returns his serve well, he gets frustrated and starts to make ton of unforced errors.

This. the only time Tsonga beat Murray was during his god-mode run at the AO 2008.. his first victim.

Jo only won 9 points on the Murray first serve during their Queens 2011 meeting. He also only won 3 points on Murray first serve during their 2010 Shanghai meeting and 11 first serve return points at Wimbledon 2010. Just goes to show how important it is for Murray to keep his first serve % up. If he can serve in the high 60s he has a good chance to win

Murray was complete rubbish for the first two sets today - he was very lucky to be even at one set all after that. How people can say he was pulling the trigger on important points when he was squandering more points with half-arsed attempts and missing pretty routine shots is beyond me.

A win is a win - and this was a tough test for him - but let's not read into this more than it warrants. He missed piles of first serves by a couple of metres and played into Ferrer's hands quite nicely for long patches of the match - something he wont get away with against guys who really can pull the trigger and hit shots you can't run down.

Words of wisdom. so so right. if Murray can keeps is 1st serve % in 70's, he will win everything and his 1st wimby title.
