Will we witness another slam final between roger and djoker at all??
all these years both of them being seeded in the top 3,just once we got a slam final between them (USO 2007)..this is largely due to them being drawn in the same half almost every time..
will this finally change now that they will be seeded 1-2 after this wimby and will we see them fighting for the title someday?
what are your thoughts??

They will be seeded 1 and 2 at US Open. At that surface, I think chances are very good. Even if Roger ends up with Rafa he has a shot.

Roger is now old, worn-out, over-the-hill, post-prime, post-peak-prime, spent, dead-beat, dog-tired, pooped, jaded, fatigued, injured and maybe even burnt out.

Very unlikely of him to reach a final even with a cakewalk, rigged draw.
Stop dreaming everyone. He's done and dusted. Only one person shall reign supreme, and he's currently swimming with his lil sister at home.

You forgot to include that he plays with too small a racquet and still wears shirts with buttons.

They'll be No. 1 and No. 2 at the Olympics, so that could be fun.

We have all been hoping for Nadal and Djokovic on the same side, but perhaps Fed would prefer Nadal on his half at the Olympics rather than Murray because ...

1. It's 2 out of 3. Might have better chance against Rafa than Murray there.
2. Murray loves playing on grass and is playing well this tournament
3. He beat Rafa at their latest two 2-of-3 encounters, including at Indian Wells (more of a favorable court for Rafa than Wimbledon)
4. Rafa out early here and in Halle, confidence suffering
5. Alleged knee issues

You could almost make a case for the U.S. Open, too, if Rafa's summer is lackluster. He could be taken out early by a big hitter, or it could be a chance for Fed to play Nadal on the court that most favors him (I still think it's better for his chances than Wimbledon; the issue is running into Novak in those two epics the past two years).

No i would prefer that Nadal & Djokovic falls in same half and in that case he does not have to beat both of them.
