My adductor pollicis (muscle between thumb and index finger) on my right hand has grown very large from a combination of hitting with heavy topspin and playing in a drum battery. I am starting to get spasms in it and the pain is radiating up my arm. Is there any hand stretches I can do before I play?

I would shake, rotate and stretch all muscles in the fingers and wrist before tennis and drum playing.
But as for any adductor muscle, an obvious way to stretch is to perform an abduction. Try what is called "live hand" in Hapkido. You basically, spread out all the fingers as far from each other as possible. This is an active stretch, not a passive one. So you should feel the abductors tense and strong. If the "live hand" is not enough, you can use your left hand to pull the thumb slowly away from the index finger, stretching it even more.
Also, when you feel spasms in that muscle, experiment with it. Try moving the thumb into various positions to see what movement gives you the best stretch and relief. Try also rotating your fingers.
Good luck.
