She says this twice at matchpoint, "... That's $420,000 going to be split between errani and vinci. That will buy them a lot of pasta!!!!". I am speechless. Where's Jason Goodall when you need decent commentary!

Dumb Shriver. There more to Italian food than Pasta. Pasta is just stapilary.

Never makes a smart comment anyways.

What is the big deal. Italians are not the only people who eat pasta. Pasta is popular in many countries.

Later that day they were overhead saying "Mamma mia that's some spicy meatball!"

Seriously....only Amercians can be at the extreme ends of being smart and dumb.

Shriver is on the dumb scale.

It is a very uncivilized stereotyping of Italians. Probably more palatable (no pun) than an equivalent joke about Li Na or Feng Shuai eating rice, but a stereotyping indeed. Grandma Shriver really needs to go. Today's women are far superior to any that played in her time. Her time has come and gone and she is irrelevant now.

Isn't she the one who disturbed Blake by interviewing someone loudly in the stands when the match was going on? I don't think she even apologized. These people get their jobs through contacts. Time to get rid of the old-girls network.

I can put up with Evert or Navralitova but Shriver and everyone else bar Tracy Austin, just needs to look back and take stock.

That was dumb, uncalled for, and possibly insulting. No positives here.

People who are offended by this are the same idiots that have canned almost every radio talk show I liked and the reason I don't get to see the "Puerto Rican Day Parade" on Seinfeld.
