Australian Open Champion - Novak Djokovic
French Open Champion - Rafael Nadal
Wimbledon Champion - Roger Federer
US Open - Andy Murray

Olympics Gold - Andy Murray
Olympics Silver - Roger Federer
Olympics Bronze - Non-applicable to Big 4

ATP Tour Finals - ???

At the moment, it's Murray's year in terms of the most prestigious events unless Novak or Roger can win the ATP Tour Finals to make it their year.

Discuss.

With or without WTF, 2012 is already Murray's year

Wimbledon finals and Olympics / USO winner.

Now

1.Federer
2.Djokovic
3.Murray
4.Nadal
5.Ferrer

So to keep the tradition Ferrer wins the ATP Tour Finals and takes 4th from Nadal.

Great year 4 different Grand Slam winners. Welcome Andy to the club. You made a believer when you won the Gold. But this is what really counts. Congrats.

I like how each of the top 4 won each slam in order of how they were ranked at the beginning of the year.

It's Novak's year.

Two masters titles, 3 more finals, french and us open final, aus open champ...

That's why he is 1st on ATP race, 3000 points ahead of Murray (counting US open points)

AND?

Novak has:
AO Win
French Final
US Final

And if Novak wins WTF, I'd say it's his year.

Though, this year has been quite magical for Roger as well. Regaining that No. 1 and winning the most prestigious tournament. Plus the amount of Masters he has won.

You have an year with 4 different Slam winners and it's already "someones" year?
2011 was Nole's year yeah, not every year is someone's year.

Federer isn't sure already about finishing this year ranked 1, he now has to defend lots of points but whoever finishes 1st if the most entitled to something like this, isn't it logical!?

Novak had a better year, but I'd put Murray as second. USO, Olympic Gold, Wimbledon Final, Miami Final.

They did equally well IMO (except nadal, who got injured)

Yes, Big 4... Murray probably had the best year. Wimbledon, Olympics, and now US Open he has clearly been the most in form and fittest player....

I'd even lean toward saying the BIG 3 this year, as Nadal has been injured for awhile now, will continue to be injured and probably won't play another tournament all year...

Murray really improved this year and showed why he deserved to win a Slam.

Congrats Andy.

Novak and Andy did a bit better than Roger but Roger is still No. 1 so yeah.

Don't expect Roger to give up his throne at WTF so easily either.
