For real, not to mention this time of year we're always seeing these " 20xx is shaping up the be the most exciting year in men's tennis" articles.

I for one am sick on them.

Non Big-4 Candidates for a slam win in 2013:

Tsonga - Been knocking on the door for a long time. If only had a coach to set him straight mentally like Lendl did with Murray.

Delpo - Played a lot of big matches this year falling short unfortunately. Still really young and I think he's going to break out.

Candidates to finally make a Slam Semi/Win a huge Masters 1000:

Kohlschreiber - Quietly improving with age. Beautiful backhand and solid all-court game.
Raonic - We know the story here.
Almagro - Has the game, don't know if has the mental toughness and aggressiveness.
