1) Hewitt to beat Stebe in the DC playoff - it would have been great if the ageing warrior could have dragged Australia across the line once more.

2) Djokovic to beat Rafa at the USO - I wanted Djok to add his name to that elite list of players to hold all four majors at the one time.

3) Fed to beat Murray for Olympic Gold - nothing against Murray (and I really don't care about the Olympics) but I would like to have seen Fed tick the last of the boxes.

1) Murray beating Federer at Wimbledon this year.

2) Federer beating Djokovic at US Open 2011.

3) Nadal beating Djokovic at the Australian Open this year.

Actually, Nadal faced Djokovic in the Roland Garros final in 2012, not at the USO (Nadal didn't take part in USO 2012). Whilst it would have been interesting for Djokovic to hold all four majors at the same time, I thought it was even more impressive for Nadal to win a 7th Roland Garros title (and his 50th title overall). It made him 7/7 in Roland Garros finals, with a 52-1 record overall, having not had his serve broken more than once until the final (3-0 in the first set, was first broken in the 1R vs Bolelli). It also meant Nadal tied Sampras/Borg/Federer for most consecutive years of winning 1 slam per year (8 years), and it meant that Nadal tied Borg's slam count and temporarily had the greatest winning percentage in Open Era history.

I don't see why you'd want to change that result, when all Djokovic would gain is one record, whereas Nadal gained lots of things by winning.

That's because people like you make me want to see Nadal lose - everything.

I would have liked-

1) Murray to beat Raonic at Barcelona 2012 and then to make the final, so that Nadal could beat Murray in the final and extend his H2H to 14-5 overall (including 4-0 on clay).

2) Nadal to beat Federer in 3 sets at AO 2012 (not 4 sets) so Nadal would be fitter for the AO 2012 final.

3) Argentina to beat Czech Republic in Davis Cup SF.

I'd keep Roddick going at the US Open, reaching a semifinal and ending sort of like Connors. That's 3 results right there.

The results are fine as they are, I think. Everyone got a bite of the pie, and "upcoming" Murray got the OG as well.

I would have liked Fed to win the OG, though, since that was his last chance and he wanted it so bad. So near and yet so far.

Typical *** haha, sticking to the topic in 1 sentence, then somehow turning it around into "Nadal is the greatest in/at/on xxx"

Look, I understand that this is hard to hear but nobody cares about the DC.

You are clearly not an Australian so that is your bad luck, plenty of Aussie tennis followers care about DC, not surprisingly considering we have won it so many times.
Who are you to say what people are allowed to be interested on here anyway?

As for the OP's question I would like to have seen either Hewitt win that DC match or Hewitt beat Djokovic at the AO, then Nadal beat Djokovic at the Australian and last but not least, Federer beat Berdych at the US.

I don't have a problem with Djokovic beating Federer in slams, I do have a problem with Nadal beating Fed, though.

At the same time I think Fed would win a set at least against Novak in the final, he was in pretty good form.
