He will retire in an attempt to retire from ALL the big tourneys.

He will be fresher than both Murray and Federer who also play Basel a week earlier, and that's all that matters.

Murray isn't playing Basel now.

Last year Federer won all 3, Djokovic only reached SF in Basel and QF in Paris, we all know what happened in WTF. Lost to Ferrer and Tipsy, and I think he had to save match points against Berdych as well?

Yeah right. We all know Djokovic won three slams last year. What's your point?

Last year the 3 events weren't played back to back.

You're well prepared for the excuse if he loses at the WTF.

Come on....the guy is only 25 !

You don't see Fed fans complaining and he's 31.

LOL

OP probably thinks to 2009 when Djokovic played the finals of Paris, before that final in Basel and did not have enough power for the final tournament.

Before he went into a mini-slump in the post USO run and got bagelled by Nishikori.

Last year the 3 events weren't played back to back.

Eaxctly so what do you think will happen this year when they ARE played back to back.

Just play and stop making excuses. You're a man, not a little kid. It's embarrassing when you consider women's tennis are also playing late in the year and they aren't complaining.

He already retired at the WTF last year.
