Novak Djokovic won the 2nd most amount of Grand Slam matches in 2 consecutive years (2011-2012) in history with 49 matches won. (Federer won 53 matches between 2006-2007.)

Murray won 43 Grand Slam matches between 2011-2012, which is just one less match won than Pete Sampras won in his two most prolific years (1993-1994). (Of course, Sampras won 4 Grand Slams during that time compared to Murray's 1)

I have to give it to you dude, sometimes you make good threads, but at times they're just pretty lame and trivial..........this one is one of them I'm afraid.

No offense dude, just sayin'.

I found it interesting. Particularly the Murray part.

yeah this is very interesting. Fed is expected but it really puts into light how dominant Novak has been. people already forget that before the DC win Djokovic was pretty much written off as a 1 slam wonder.

The Murray stat is extremely interesting of course

Exactly that part that made the whole thread interesting. Murray won "only" one major, but have almost the same amount of wins that a player who had won four majors.

This era must be pretty strong, huh?
